Before Action:
STEP-1 Vehicle bolt pattern check
Confirm your vehicle bolt pattern according to the figure below.
Let’s take the 5-lug wheel spacer as an example, if the length of segment as measured in the picture is 5.5”, and as there are 5 lugs, then the bolt pattern is 5×5.5″. Now you should be able to determine what kind of bolt patterns you need.
STEP-2 Measurement
Measure the diameter of the center bore of the wheel spacers, make sure that it is greater than the axle diameter.
STEP-3 Check
Check the thread size, which is often ignored by customers when placing the order.
TIPS: install the supplied lug nuts or bolts on the hub only by hand (do not install the wheel at this time). It might be the wrong thread size for your vehicle when you feel resistance during the process, and please contact the tire seller or manufacturer for further suggestions.
Installation NOTICE:
- Clean the studs thoroughly and remove any excessive dirt, oil, grease etc.
- Thread the supplied lug nuts to axle studs with TAPERED end facing towards the spacers.
- Install the nuts by hand ONLY and tighten them in a crisscross pattern.
- Do NOT use automatic screwdrivers when installing wheel spacers.
- It is possible that your existing lug nut studs can be longer than the adapter itself, you may need to alter your existing studs if the adapters do not sit flush with the wheels. If the studs are longer than the adapter, and the wheels do not have a hollow spot in them, you may need to grind, or cut your existing lugs if you choose not to purchase shorter studs. Otherwise, the adapter bolt can、work as normal and will -r-atlv shorten the bolt’s workinq life and bring danger to you.
Maintenance TIPS:
Please check all lug nuts and bolts of the adapters after the first 50 -100 miles. They may get loose after a long time running. Make sure you will recheck them every 3000 – 5000 miles and screw tight.
